Protecting Your Safety & Health

Hi Friends,

I have loved seeing more patients recently in my office as I've missed you all. It's been wonderful to support you all — remotely or in-office — during these precarious times. I've had many calls asking if it's safe to come in for an appointment as we proceed through this next phase.

I want to make clear the precautions that I'm taking to protect your safety, health, and wellbeing - now and as always.

Please note the guidelines in effect in my office:

  • For scheduling purposes, there will only be one client at a time in my office. This means no one else will be in my second treatment room, and no one waiting in the foyer. Client appointments will be spaced farther apart to reduce the possibility of close contact in the hallway and to maintain the 6 feet of social distancing. You will be the only person getting treated while you are in the office.

  • I am regularly sanitizing all touch surfaces: door knobs, pens, etc. I’ve removed the magazines in my foyer. The open door at my office is both to welcome you in and ensure you don't have to touch a doorknob.

  • All linens on the treatment tables are changed with each new client.

  • Masks are in effect as stated by the town of Hingham, however when I’ve left the treatment room and you are resting with needles, you can feel free to remove your mask.

  • And of course, needles always have been and will continue to be single use only.

In addition to acupuncture, I offer anxiety-reducing techniques and suggestions of homeopathic remedies stress relief. I’m also interested in helping you support your own immune system through our body’s best line of defense - wholesome food choices. Our immune systems need to have a fighting chance during these times.

And in case you missed it...

In my last newsletter I shared that I recently completed a Plant Based Nutrition Program through Cornell University, led by T. Colin Campbell, PhD, author of The China Study. I can help support you with tips and guidance so that you’re equipped to incorporate more wholesome, plant-based foods into your diet and so that ultimately, your immune system will have a fighting chance.

My work as an acupuncturist is to support and balance energy levels, and during this time, I look forward to working with you remotely so that you can achieve that by supporting your body, mind, and emotional state in any and all of the ways you need.

Also, if you want to schedule a call to simply say hi, please know I’m here for that too. To schedule a Zoom session, just email me or call the office.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Stay well,

Megan Stewart, Lic Ac
